Glaucoma treatment seeks to decrease intraocular pressure and prevents damage to the optic nerve. Increased pressure in the eye is one of the ways the optic nerve is damaged. Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of preventable blindness.
Each day, children, teenagers, and adults use computers, tablets, smartphones, game consoles, laptops, television, and other digital devices, resulting in eye strain, headache, discomfort, and other symptoms that may cause COMPUTER VISION SYNDROME (CVS). All these symptoms can affect your children’s performance in school and your productivity at work.
At Vonnie Vision Eye Care, we teach our patients proper visual ergonomics and recommend using Blue cut lenses when necessary to reduce symptoms and increase productivity. Blue light has been used in computer and phone screens to improve the visual quality of devices. Research has shown that blue light is responsible for eyestrain in patients and prolonged exposure to blue light and harmful UV rays is known to cause sleep deprivation and is responsible for other diseases such as cataracts and skin cancers.
OCCUPATIONAL VISION SCREENING
Our occupational vision consultants assess and identify visual abilities of the patient through the following test ; VISUAL FIELD ANALYSIS, STEREO ACUITY TEST and other visual function test.
OPTHALMOLOGICAL SERVICES
Our consultants are available for ophthalmologist services. These includes examination, diagnosis and conduct surgical procedures for eye diseases such as cataract, retinal diseases and others.
OCCUPATIONAL VISUAL / EYE SAFETY TRAINING
Our occupational health team provides consultancy investigation and assessment of your visual needs as it corresponds to your occupation, tasks, office and work environment.
PRESCRIPTION SAFETY GLASSES
At Vonnie vision, we provide you with prescription safety glasses that have your lens prescription and specification mounted in them. Our Safety frames are certified by the America National Standard Institute with certification ANSI Z87. 1-2010 and Canadian Standard Association (CSA Z94.3-07). The frames are built to prevent penetration of radiation and chemical splash. Our variety of safety frames design allows you to choose a safety frame best suited for your personal comfort.

We offer several optical services. These include Contact Lenses, Crizal Lenses (Blue Cut Lenses), Computer Lenses, Varifocal Lenses, Bifocal Lenses, Photochromic Lenses, Designers Frames, Kids, and Rimless Frames.

We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of color vision defects. These includies protanopsia, deutanopsia, tritanopsia, monochromatism and others.
We can successfully correct color blindness using color vision glasses through the advanced technology of our partner company COLORLITE LIMITED. We are an affiliate of COLORLITE LIMITED with head office in Hungary.
